  1. Fascinating, never heard of this series. I especially liked 'Satanas', as I'm a sucker for Golden Age strips with villain protagonists like The Claw & Briefer's early Frankenstein.

    However, I find the 'Sorcerer' feature the most fascinaitng because of the reference to 'Cthulu'. Some early Dr. Fate stories had Lovecraftian overtones, but this is the first direct reference by name that I've seen in a golden age comic to Cthulhu, misspelled or not.
